Speaker Johnson knows what happened to missing NJ Rep. Tom Kean Jr. — but refuses to disclose it
WASHINGTON — House Speaker Mike Johnson teased that he knows what is going on with mysteriously missing Rep. Tom Kean Jr. , but will leave it to the congressman to divulge it. “I do know what his health issue is, but he’s asked me not to disclose that, and I’m going to honor that,” Johnson (R-La.) told reporters. Kean has been missing from Congress since March 5, when he participated in his last roll call vote. Since then, he has claimed a health issue kept him away, but hasn’t specified what condition or when he’ll be back other than within a couple of “weeks.” “He’s in good spirits,” the speaker explained. “It’s not a scandalous thing at all. People deal with health issues. Maybe that’s a newsflash for you, but even members of Congress get sick as well.” Republican Sen. Democrats need to stand up before antisemitism completely takes over their party
Democrats’ welcome to the anti-Israel left has grown so bad that they’ve now tapped the next worst thing to al Qaeda associate for a safe House seat in New Jersey: The crazies are edging ever-closer to being the party establishment. Primary voters in Jersey’s 12th district on Tuesday tapped radical Dr. Adam Hamawy ; he’s a shoe-in in November. Even though he’s a longtime associate of terrorist mastermind Omar Abdel-Rahman, the “Blind Sheik” — and also volunteered with an al Qaeda-linked group in Bosnia and at a Hamas-friendly hospital in Gaza. Behind today’s radical, Jew-hating Democratic party is a monster created by Barack Obama Helping him over the top were endorsements from Squad Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), and Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.), plus lefty Rep. Ro Khanna (D-Calif.) and socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.).
