AOC hit with bizarre attack from Dan Bongino: 'She's not a good representative of bartenders'

Former Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino lobbed a bizarre attack against a potential 2028 Democratic presidential contender by insulting her career performance before she entered politics.

Bongino, who relaunched his podcast after stepping down from his FBI post, referenced Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s, D-N.Y., career as a bartender.

Imagining Ocasio-Cortez on the 2028 presidential debate stage, Bongino claimed her prospective performance will not end well.

“Can you imagine Marco Rubio, son of, Cuban immigrants who escaped actual socialism, risk their lives, you know, debating AOC. And listen, I love bartenders. My family actually owned a bar. Bartenders work their a---- off. She’s not a good representative of bartenders, right?” Bongino said Thursday night during an appearance on Fox News’ “The Ingraham Angle” with Laura Ingraham.

Ocasio-Cortez is a democratic socialist and has been the poster child for the left-wing movement. She has not ruled out a 2028 presidential campaign.

Bongino continued to attack Ocasio-Cortez’s intelligence.

“Against a really silly, ignorant bartender, trying to argue the merits of socialism against a guy like Rubio? Or a guy like [Vice President JD] Vance, who’s got an IQ probably 40 points higher than her? I don’t see it ending well,” he continued.

The former deputy FBI director then went on to criticize socialism, and claimed proponents of the ideology are “indoctrinated.”

“I’m not sure people care who believe this stuff. I think they’ve been indoctrinated for so long. Socialism’s a bumper sticker on a jalopy. They don’t look at the car. They’re just reading the bumper sticker,” Bongino told Ingraham.

“The car is one of those Soviet Ladas where you started it up on the parking lot and exploded,” he continued. “As long as they see the bumper sticker on the car, they’re like, ‘hey man, what a deal.’”
