Angus King III offers more than talking points | Letter
I am proud to support Angus King III for governor. Having worked with him on the 1992 Clinton-Gore campaign and at the U.S. Department of Transportation, I witnessed his intelligence and integrity firsthand.
His experience as assistant to the White House chief of staff under President Bill Clinton provided him a unique view of how government can effectively improve lives. Those lessons served as the bedrock of King’s current platform, which features a deep commitment to the middle class, clear plans for healthcare and education and a plan to address our housing emergency.
King offers more than just talking points; he brings a vision built on decades of experience in both government and the private sector. He is a proven innovator who understands that Maine is strongest when we work together. I urge my fellow Mainers to support Angus King III for a stronger, healthier and more affordable future.
