Nancy Guthrie's neighbor reveals chilling first sign she went missing
A NEIGHBOR of Nancy Guthrie has opened up about her suspected abduction and relived the moment he knew she had vanished.
Brett McInti shared his heartbreak as experts speculated multiple stone-cold criminals could be behind the 84-year-old’s disappearance.
McInti explained that he’s never gotten to know Nancy in his five years living in the neighborhood in Tucson, Arizona, but quickly learned she was in danger on Sunday morning.
He left his house to go to church around 6:45 am and didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary, but when he came back home the tense situation was made crystal clear.
“Pretty quickly, I saw the helicopters flying,” McInti told The U.S. Sun.
When asked about his reaction to the news, the neighbor said he was “shocked and saddened” as the mom is living alone and suffering from some medical issues.

“It’s sad,” said the emotional neighbor, who fondly remembered Today’s Savannah broadcasting a heartwarming segment on Tucson in the past.
The mystery of Nancy’s disappearance is deepening, as officials admit they have no suspects in mind, and no strong leads on finding answers.
They fear the 84-year-old was abducted from her bed in the early hours of Sunday morning after she was dropped off safely at home on Saturday evening by her family.
Now, some experts are speculating that several sick individuals had to be involved to pull off such a harrowing scheme.
Speaking with The U.S. Sun, Mike Jones, who is a retired police chief, said “It’s going to take more than one of the suspects to take an 84-year-old woman out.
“Not because of eight or fighting, but the fact that she’s probably having a very difficult time walking, getting in a car, and she’s probably crying and she’s probably fearful.”
Jones suggested the criminals may have gagged Nancy to “keep her quiet” because there are cameras and neighbors surrounding the home.
He also theorized that a “junior kidnapper” could have been driving around the neighborhood looking at her house to “see what was going on.”
MOM’S LAST MOVES
Nancy enjoyed dinner with her daughter Annie Guthrie and son-in-law Tommaso Cioni before Cioni dropped her off at around 9:45 pm, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said.
The son-in-law watched her get in safely before returning to their home, which is just a few miles away.
The following morning, a parishioner at Nancy’s church called her family to report she never showed up for service.
Terrified family members called 911 around 12 pm after going to her home and finding the mom missing.
When he announced her disappearance, Nanos made it clear that Nancy’s life was in danger due to her physical ailments, which required daily medication.
The sheriff urged community members to keep their eyes peeled, and has begged everyone in the neighborhood to double check their surveillance for anything suspicious.
