Rep. Carol Miller discusses chronic disease burden in rural West Virginia with HHS secretary
WASHINGTON — Rep. Carol Miller met with Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to discuss the burden of chronic disease in rural communities throughout West Virginia.
Miller has been working with her colleagues on the Ways and Means Health Subcommittee to inform DHHS policy for rural states.
During the hearing, Miller addressed Kennedy and the rest of the Trump administration, sharing concerns about how rural states often are overrepresented in chronic disease cases.
