Letters: Question representatives about war in Iran
I am writing to my congressman, Clay Higgins, from Louisiana's Third District. I feel that he, along with the rest of our congressional delegation, owes us all a response.
As his constituent, I want to know a couple of things about the latest war this Republican administration has launched in our name. Was Higgins, as a member of Congress, consulted, and did he give consent to this recent action beginning Feb. 28? I would normally refer to congressional votes to determine his actions, but, to my knowledge, this was not discussed in the halls of our government. This seems unilateral, by an out-of-control administration with no bounds.
I will emphatically state that he owes it to us in Lafayette, to us in Louisiana and to the rest of his fellow citizens across America to be 100% transparent and tell us what he knew and when.
