Whoopi Goldberg Halts ‘The View’ To Shoutout Audience Member Who Looks Like Barack Obama: “Is The President Here?!”

Whoopi Goldberg exclusively refers to President Trump as “You Know Who” on The View , but there’s one former president the actress has no problem giving a shoutout to: Former President Barack Obama . Goldberg halted the ladies’ introduction to the show during Thursday’s (May 21) broadcast when she thought she spotted Obama in the audience. She even went as far as giving him a spirited shoutout that had her co-hosts and the audience laughing at the coincidence. As she and her co-hosts took their seats around the Hot Topics table, Goldberg asked, “You see the man who looks like Obama up there?” When Does ‘The Late Show With Stephen Colbert’ Return — And When Is The Final Episode? The ladies immediately spotted the dapper gentleman in the top row. The camera also panned directly to the lookalike, who was laughing at the comparison. “I was like, is the president here?!” Goldberg joked. “Look at Obama!” She then raised her hands up and yelled, “Obama!” “I mean, I saw you out of the corner of my eye,” she told the audience member, adding that she couldn’t believe it at first. “So, I just have to say, welcome to The View

Nancy Pelosi torched by San Franciscans for endorsing far-left candidate Connie Chan

Rep. Nancy Pelosi’s long-awaited endorsement in the race to succeed her after four decades in Congress has enraged San Franciscans on both sides of the city’s deep-blue political spectrum. Pelosi formally backed San Francisco Supervisor Connie Chan on Monday, choosing the labor-aligned candidate over state Sen. Scott Wiener and progressive multimillionaire Saikat Chakrabarti. “I know this district, I know the Congress, and I know Connie,” Pelosi said in a short campaign video released alongside the endorsement. Connie Chan won the congressional endorsement of Rep. Nancy Pelosi just two weeks before the election. “I’m proud to endorse Connie Chan, and I ask you to join me in electing her to Congress.” Reactions to Pelosi’s endorsement suggested the 86-year-old may not know her city as well as she thinks. The endorsement quickly sparked a war of words over San Francisco’s future — exposing simmering anger from moderates, housing activists, tech leaders and even far-left progressives who view Pelosi as the embodiment of the city’s political establishment. “WTF. Pelosi endorsed Connie Chan, a progressive supervisor in SF who opposed the Chesa Boudin recall , blocked every form of housing, and voted against streamlining permits and cutting red tape,” investor Sheel Mohnot posted on
