Congressman Derrick Van Orden endorsed by U.S. Chamber of Commerce
EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) - Congressman Derrick Van Orden had a big announcement on Wednesday as he continues a bid for reelection.
Van Orden has been endorsed by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce for his work in business policy.
As a top spender in federal elections, the U.S. Chamber says Van Orden is committed to free enterprise solutions and removing red tape for Wisconsin businesses.
“The people that step up and take a risk to start a business, to employ their neighbors, should be respected,” said Van Orden.
The congressman says he works to provide smoother sailing for employers and functional businesses and jobs for Wisconsin workers.
He faces Democratic challenger Rebecca Cooke this November.
