Van Orden makes a speech at the Republican National Convention
DALLAS, Tex. (WEAU) - Representative Derrick Van Orden (R-WI) spoke at the Republican National Convention in Dallas on Wednesday.
He had a short, five minute speech in front of a crowd. Van Orden spoke about healthcare, specifically as it relates to veterans, affordability, and rural areas.
“Whether you choose to live in a city or a village like my beautiful wife Sara Jane and I do, you deserve high quality, readily available, and actually affordable healthcare,” Van Orden said.
He also spoke about the rural healthcare infrastructure transformation program, and a little bit about it’s long term investments.
This is the first time that the Republican National Convention has been held in a midterm election year
