Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren has issued a call to the Trump administration, urging the closure of a regulatory loophole that has potentially facilitated the export of advanced American AI chips to overseas branches of Chinese firms.
Warren, who is the ranking member of the Senate Banking Committee, has also called on Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick to testify regarding this crucial matter, according to a statement obtained by Reuters.
