Last week acting Attorney General Todd Blanche told CBS News that the Trump administration was expanding its efforts to revoke the citizenship ocertain foreign-born Americans.

"If you're going to come and become a citizen in this country, but you're going to do it by fraud, you're going to do it in a way that's illegal, you should be worried," Blanche said.

The name Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., should be at the top of the list. She has long-shown her distain for American values and the United States, the very country that accepted her as a refugee. It's time for America to show her the same respect she has for America and give her the boot.

State Sen. Michael Holmstrom, R-Minn., and a House colleague appeared on Newsmax TV last week to discuss the growing calls for a federal grand jury investigation into Omar over her potential role in the $250 million "Feeding Our Future" fraud scheme.

"[Ilhan Omar] is obviously the most corrupt member of the most corrupt institution in the country: Congress," Holmstrom told National Report, and demanded accountability over Omar's alleged fraud connections.

He added, "this is not an individual whose hands are clean, and that's if we ignore the fact that she probably married her brother to commit immigration fraud."

The Minnesota-based Alpha News first reported Omar's marriage to her brother in order to bring him to the United States, calling it "the most extensive spree of illegal misconduct committed by a House member in American history."

That was nearly seven years ago — in July of 2019.

Three Alpha News researchers and writers worked on the project, and they closed by stating that they believed they'd "provided more than enough evidence to give law enforcement authorities probable cause to open an investigation."

They added, "Now would be the chance for law enforcement, and especially for Rep. Ilhan Omar's House colleagues, to make a sincere stand against corruption and for the uniform application of the law."

Nothing happened.

More recently, an X account calling itself the "Republic of Somaliland" released records that included birth and marriage certificates.

"Her brother, Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, and their father, Nur Said Elmi (also known as Nur Omar), used multiple names across different countries.

"Part of the family fled to the United Kingdom, while Ilhan Omar and others entered the United States under their father’s assumed name, 'Omar," they said.

"These name changes and split identities were used to conceal the father’s true war crimes and identity," Somaliland continued.

Responding to a December X post from the White House acknowledging that Omar had married her brother, Sen. Ted Cruz, a Texas Republican and constitutional scholar,said, "If this is true, then Omar faces criminal liability under three different statutes:"

He listed them as:

• Federal Marriage Fraud (8 U.S.C. § 1325(c));

• State Incest Laws (Minnesota Statute § 609.365); and,

• Tax Fraud (26 U.S. Code § 7206.1)

Each of these crimes are felonies, punishable by a term of years in prison.

Missing from the list is immigration fraud, possibly because the fraud was committed to support the immigration of her brother, not herself.

Nonetheless, Omar has shown zero loyalty to her adopted country. She was recorded recently telling members of the Somali community in their native language that the United States would bow to their bidding.

"The U.S. government will only do what Somalians in the U.S. tell them to do. They will do what we want and nothing else. They must follow our orders and that is how we will safeguard the interests of Somalia," she said.

"Sleep in comfort knowing I am here to protect the interests of Somalia from inside the U.S. system."

Tech entrepreneur Elon Musk concluded, "This sounds like treason."

If that wasn't, the next example may be.

Two years ago she was caught once again on video, this time telling her supporters that "the president and I have a special relationship."

But Omar wasn't referring to then-President Joe Biden, as she soon revealed.

"I am very honored to have had the chance that our president, president of Somalia, [she was interrupted by rousing cheers at this point, before continuing,] President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud."

Omar then revealed the "special relationship" she had with her "real" president: "I call him Uncle and he calls me his girl."

She added, "we are very happy that Hassan is our president. Somalia is our home. It is home to all the people gathered here."

We know where her loyalties lie.

If the White House acknowledges that Omar married her brother, and if acting Attorney General Blanche is serious about going after immigration fraudsters, let's give it a shot.

If not, we can at least prosecute her on two federal felonies.

The clock is ticking.
