COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Congressman James E. Clyburn (SC-06) will host his 34th annual World Famous Fish Fry on Friday.
Clyburn began the fish fry more than three decades ago as a thank you to campaign workers and volunteers.
Longtime political columnist Roger Simon has described Clyburn’s fish fry as “one of those all-too-rare, feel-good evenings in politics.”
This year’s event will feature Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear and Rep. Ro Khanna (CA-17). The fish fry will take place at the EdVenture Children’s Museum in Columbia.
Gates open at 8 p.m., with the speaking program beginning at 8:30 p.m. The event runs until 11 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
