Yonkers man fatally shot outside Manhattan building
A Yonkers man has been identified as the victim of a shooting outside a Manhattan building Tuesday, March 31.
NYPD said officers responded to the scene of 111 W. 110th Street around 10:22 p.m. Tuesday and observed a man, identified as Santiago Rafael Garcia de Jesus, 36, of Yonkers, with multiple gunshot wounds to the torso.
EMS workers transported Garcia de Jesus to Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital in critical condition, where he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
NYPD said the incident remains under investigation and no arrests have yet been made.
