Congressmen Rutherford and Cuellar introduced the FAST Act, providing free TSA PreCheck for federal law enforcement officers.
During National Police Week, U.S. Congressmen John H. Rutherford and Henry Cuellar introduced the Federal Agents Secure Travel (FAST) Act. This legislation aims to provide federal law enforcement officers free access to TSA PreCheck, which is intended to enhance airport security efficiency and support officers' travel needs.
Rutherford emphasized that federal law enforcement officers undergo extensive background checks, making them suitable candidates for expedited TSA travel. He stated, "Having more federal law enforcement officers in the air...makes air travel safer for all Americans."
