Riley Harbottle, Shaq Forde, Tom Lockyer and Josh McEachran: Bristol Rovers injury and team news for Oldham
Here is the latest team news and injury latest for Bristol Rovers ahead of their away match against Oldham Athletic in League Two
It's a quick turnaround for Bristol Rovers after their 3-1 defeat at Cambridge United on Saturday. Rovers will travel to Oldham Athletic on Tuesday evening, looking to recover from two consecutive losses against the U's and Chesterfield.
Results at the weekend saw the Gas drop to 21st in League Two, with their buffer to the relegation zone reducing to five. They face the 16th-placed Latics, who are winless in four, and sold Joe Quigley to Rovers on Deadline Day.
Five players were missing on Saturday against Cambridge, with Riley Harbottle, Shaq Forde, Tom Lockyer, and Josh McEachran all not making the 18-man squad, while Macauley Southam-Hales has a long-term injury. Promise Omochere returned, though, coming on in the second half for 10 minutes to make his first appearance since October.
After the game against Neil Harris' side, Steve Evans provided updates on the four absentees, so here is the latest team news for the midweek trip to Oldham.

OPINION
Riley Harbottle
" I think he'll be two or three weeks, to be honest. And that's a loss to us. You can see today, we missed him, but it doesn't help when the other three lads individually have a poor game."
Shaq Forde and Tom Lockyer
On Forde: " Well, we'll see. We'll see how Shaq [is], if he's back with us on Monday, but we missed Shaq today badly. In that role that he's been playing for us, he's been outstanding."
On both: "But we're here without Shaq Forde, without Tom Lockyer, big lads, who we were expecting yesterday to be available today, but Tom reported ill, so he had to be sent home, and Shaq, was still feeling the effects of a heavy knock against Chesterfield."
Josh McEachran
"Yeah, Josh is out for two or three weeks. He felt his hamstring coming back. He was back, trained for a week, and then on the Friday before Chesterfield, pulled out feeling his hamstring. So, he's probably away for another two or three weeks, so we're in the middle of losing big players, good players for us.
"But you know what you do, as I said to the boys in there, you have to get in the trenches and fight, but you have to produce individual better performances than we produce today. You know, Chesterfield, we had excuses. You know, we didn't start well, but then we got into the game, and we gave a bad goal away. So, there's excuses, but no excuses today. They simply were better than us."
Macauley Southam-Hales - Update on January 27
"Yeah, he's gone for the season. I would think if he comes back for the last three, four weeks, we'd be pleased.
"Let's hope we're in a position when he comes back to get the kid back active because he's a good player."
