The voters have been without representation in the state Senate for 16 months. Democrats now cling to a 19-18 state Senate majority. A Republican victory would deadlock the chamber at 19 senators each. The nominees are Democrat Chedrick Greene, Republican Jason Tunney and Libertarian Ali Sledz.
