Son of Rep. Lauren Boebert facing charges of sexual exploitation of a child
GARFIELD COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- The son of Colorado Rep. Lauren Boebert is facing charges for sexual exploitation of a child plus other related charges, according to court documents obtained by KRDO13.
According to records, Tyler Boebert was arrested on Thursday, Aug. 6, but the alleged crime took place in January of 2024.
He was also arrested in 2024 in the town of Rifle for a string of property thefts.
Rep. Boebert told KRDO13 in a statement:
"I love my son. We take these allegations very seriously and pray for everyone affected during this challenging time."
Rep. Boebert serves Colorado Congressional District 4, which includes most of the Eastern Plains and parts of the state's Front Range, including parts of El Paso County.
