Lorraine Kelly addresses Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's mystery 'bruise' live on air
Lorraine Kelly reacted after a photo of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor appeared to show a dark mark across his face
Lorraine Kelly delivered a four-word response after Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was pictured appearing to sport a bruised face.
The former prince was photographed this week leaving his residence at Marsh Farm on the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk. Snapped behind the wheel of a car, he appeared to have a dark mark visible across his face, reports the Mirror.
The mark was situated close to one eye and extended across Andrew's cheek, prompting widespread speculation that it could be a bruise. The cause, however, remains unknown.
The topic came up on Lorraine's ITV chat show on Friday (June 5), with the television presenter weighing in on the photograph of Andrew, who had not been spotted in public for several weeks prior to the image emerging.
"He's got sort of mystery bruise across his face," the presenter told viewers.
"I wonder who was responsible for that."
She then added: "Form an orderly queue."
Elsewhere during the programme, Lorraine also sat down with former Strictly Come Dancing professional Karen Hauer, who has departed the BBC ballroom show after 14 years as one of its pro dancers.
Karen is amongst a number of cast members to have left ahead of the upcoming series of Strictly, alongside fellow professionals Gorka Marquez, Nadiya Bychkova, Luba Mushtuk and Michelle Tsiakkas.
"So look, massive changes to Strictly," Lorraine noted as Karen joined her on the programme.
"Did you sort of see the way things were going and think, 'Maybe it's my time' or had you decided it was your time to go? It was the right time to leave?"
The dancer responded: "You know what? Sometimes these decisions just it kind of just takes time, and it's one of these things that you don't really know what's going to, you know, I've loved being on Strictly...
"It's 14 years of the best experiences and the warmth and the things that I learned and the people that I met."
She added: "And, you know, the experience that I got. I grew a lot I grew up a lot, you know, during Strictly."
