Primary challengers fill void as Rep. Miller declines town hall invitation
The group of western Illinois voters who gathered Saturday afternoon in Washington Park hoping to catch a glimpse of Illinois' 15th Congressional District representative, Mary Miller, did not leave disappointed.
Many, if not all, of the 40 or so who attended the 'Takin' the Town Hall to Mary' meet-up knew it would have been a longshot for Rep. Miller to accept the invitation.
Some of them certainly appeared a bit surprised, but nonetheless appreciative, of meeting and talking with Miller's opponents in the March 17 primary, Judy Bowlby and Ryan Tebrugge.
