Multiple Hall of Famers coming to star-studded Detroit Sports Spectacular
NOVI, MI - One Hall of Famer after another will be at Michigan’s largest sports card convention.
Some of the biggest names in football, baseball, basketball and hockey have been added to the star-studded guest list.
The 3rd annual Detroit Sports Spectacular takes place from Friday, May 29 through Sunday, March 31 at the Vibe Credit Union Showplace in Novi, formerly the Suburban Collection Showplace.
NFL all-time rushing leader, Emmitt Smith, along with Lions legend, Barry Sanders, will be among the football greats, along with Charles Woodson, Jahmyr Gibbs, Jerome Bettis, Ty Law, Michael Vick, Brandon Graham, Dan Dierdorf, Dick LeBeau, Billy Sims, Blake Corum, Andre Ware and Bennie Blades.
Baseball greats coming to the event include Kirk Gibson, Dennis Eckersley, Cecil Fielder, Ozzie Smith, Jim Abbott, Alan Trammell, Lou Whitaker, Lance Parish, Marty Castillo, Mickey Tettleton, Vladimir Guerrero Sr., Fergie Jenkins, Denny McLain and Jon Warden.
Basketball greats include Allen Iverson and Chris Webber. Hockey great Dino Ciccarelli will also be attending, along with boxing greats Roy Jones Jr. and James Toney.
Non-sports celebrities include Larry Thomas “The Soup Nazi” from “Seinfeld” and “Flash Gordon” star, Sam J. Jones.
WWE Hall of Famer, Kevin Nash will also be at the event with more guests to be announced. Overall, the event will feature more than 400 dealer tables and 50+ autograph and photo guests.
