Georgia Senate runoff for GOP nomination set for Tuesday. See polls

Georgians have a lot to decide this year, and several nominations still need to be chosen, including who will represent Republicans in the race for U.S. senator.

Candidates for GA senate race

Lawyer and former football coach Derek Dooley and U.S. House Rep. Mike Collins are the final two seeking the Republican nomination. Last month's primary election ended with Collins getting 40.5% of the vote and Dooley getting 30.19%.

Whoever wins will face Democratic U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff who ran unopposed in the primary.

CivicLens conducted a poll between May 29 and June 1, finding Collins was ahead with 49.6% of the vote followed by Dooley with 40.1% and 10.3% undecided.

Who did Trump endorse for Senate in Georgia?

As of publication, President Donald Trump has not endorsed any particular candidates in this race. However, when asked about it, Spectrum News reported he said he may endorse a candidate, adding "You know every time I endorse they win, it’s a pretty amazing track record."
