GOP Congressman’s Ex-Staffer Posted Pictures Of Himself In KKK Robes: Report
A former staffer for Rep. Mike Collins (R-Ga.) posted images depicting himself in Ku Klux Klan robes and appearing to celebrate Nazi imagery, The Washington Post reported Thursday.
The newspaper says its searches revealed the former staffer, Preston Parra, published the KKK image and a swastika made out of the word “twink” on X in June and July.

The 24-year-old interned for Collins in 2024 before working for the lawmaker’s PAC until May 2025.
The report also exposed multiple examples of Parra posting “white power,” quoting Nazi song lyrics and using racial slurs to describe Black people.
Parra, whom the Post reported has described himself as a “twink fascist,” told the newspaper his content is intended to be “satirical” and provocative.
He said Collins was not aware of his posts when he worked for the Republican because the personal account was set to private.

Parra denied being a white supremacist, but said he believes the “white race contributes more to the world.”
In the looming midterms, Collins is challenging Democratic Sen. Jon Ossoff in Georgia in a critical battle that could determine who controls the Senate.

“Preston Parra has no affiliation with Mike Collins’ office or campaign,” said Meyer Siegfried, a spokesperson for Collins, per The Guardian.
“The posts are vile, completely unhinged, and Mike Collins unequivocally condemns them,” he added.
The GOP lawmaker’s worldview has recently come under scrutiny after CNN reported on his son-in-law’s social media posts promoting white nationalist and antisemitic views.
In 2024, Collins sent an apparently supportive response to a social media account calling out a reporter for being Jewish — but later suggested he was merely agreeing that the journalist was a “garbage human” as the accusation was made by an account called @GarbageHuman23.

At the time, Collins declined to comment when asked by HuffPost if he realized he was responding to a post about the journalist’s religion.
Speaking to reporters Thursday, Ossoff called out “yet another connection” between Collins and white nationalism and “neo-Nazi ideology.”
“The state of Georgia rejects hatred. The state of Georgia rejects bigotry. The state of Georgia rejects neo-Nazism. The state of Georgia rejects the Klan,” he added.
