Mike Johnson predicts GOP sweep in 2026, 2028, and 2030

Johnson also predicted Republicans winning the White House, Senate, and House in 2028 because of the GOP’s strong “bench” of presidential candidates.

“We’re going to have a great year in 2028, and we’re going to hold the White House, the Senate, and the House again,” the speaker said.

He finally declared Republicans will win in 2030 and the years to come.

“Then we’re going to get to 2030, and you know what’s going to happen in 2030,” Johnson said. “The census will happen and it will reflect the mass exodus of population out of the blue states like New York, New Jersey, California, these socialist utopias that they’re trying and everybody’s fleeing from.

“You know where they’re moving? Texas, Florida, Tennessee, the Carolinas, the red states,” Johnson said.

The apportionment and redistricting period begins after the Census concludes in 2030, meaning the newly apportioned maps will first be in use for the 2032 elections.

Current projections from the American Redistricting Process estimate blue states California, Illinois, and New York, to lose a collective six seats to population decline. Texas is projected to gain four, Florida two, and North Carolina is estimated to gain one.

“The red states are going to get a bunch more House seats,” Johnson said. “We’re going to be back in a time where we can build a larger majority. We can hold the republic. We can keep it for 100, 200, 300 more years … and we will send the Marxists packing. That’s not who we are in America, and we’re looking forward to November.”
