Taxpayers don’t need a Trump cheerleader (letter to the editor)

An impulsive war at the world’s main oil gateway has caused gas prices to skyrocket. No word from Congress on its legal war powers.

Data centers sucking back fresh water to drive A.I. cause droughts in their drive to promote unemployment. Think gas is expensive? Wait till you see your water bill. Customer service? Talk to the A.I. hand. Congress? On break.

Security, maintenance, management are all running at the whim of one angry old man, the guy who tore down the East Wing of the White House without permission, promised that his personal ballroom would be privately funded, and now seeks a billion dollars of taxpayer funds for it. His Congressional sheep have not missed a paycheck or taken a vote.

Republican Sen. Everett McKinley Dirksen famously said, “A billion here, a billion there, and pretty soon you’re talking real money.”

The real money is coming from the middle class, the source of American growth and greatness in the 20th Century. Even Henry Ford, no Socialist he, knew that well-paid workers bought cars.

And where’s Nicole Malliotakis? Cheerleading her president as he pays off his felons. We taxpayers need a Representative here.
