Debate scheduled in Newberry between Norman and Graham

NEWBERRY, S.C. (WIS) - The SCGOP has announced that a debate will be held between Sen. Darline Graham and Congressman Ralph Norman after they both advanced to a runoff in the Republican primary for U.S. Senate on Tuesday.
The debate will take place Tuesday, August 18, at the Newberry Opera House in cooperation with Newsmax.
The SCGOP is hosting the debate in cooperation with Newsmax.
“Congratulations to Senator Darline Graham and Congressman Ralph Norman on advancing to the Republican runoff. We want to make sure Republican voters have the opportunity to compare and contrast the candidates on the issues they care about, and get the information they need to make an informed decision”, SCGOP State Chairman Drew McKissick said.
Graham and Norman are competing for the U.S. Senate seat left vacant after Lindsey Graham’s death in July.
Governor Henry McMaster appointed Darline to finish the remainder of Graham’s term.
Early voting will be held August 19-21; election day will be on the 25th to see who will face Democratic nominee Dr. Annie Andrews in November.
