Rick Scott’s Claims in Tax Leak Suit Contested by Littlejohn
Charles Littlejohn, a former IRS contractor and Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. employee who orchestrated an unprecedented leak of wealthy taxpayers’ information, asked a federal district court to toss two claims Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.) raised in ensuing litigation.
Scott sued Littlejohn and Booz Allen in March 2026 for the recovery of inflicted damages caused by Littlejohn stealing his tax information and leaking it to the media. The senator was one of many wealthy individuals whose data was provided by Littlejohn to ProPublica.
