How can constituents ‘be heard’ when Rep. Scott Perry won’t answer the phone? | PennLive letters
In my recently published letter to the editor (“Real Derangement is believing Trump is draining the swamp”), I pointed out logical errors in Scott Perry’s May 31 letter responding to my criticism of President Donald Trump’s policies. In it, he wrote, “I always encourage everyone to ‘Be Heard!’”
Yesterday, July 7, I received the same letter from Mr. Perry that he had sent before, although the topic I had written to him about was quite different.
How can a constituent “Be Heard!” when the representative does not read the communications sent, does not answer the phones at his district offices, and does not even permit us to visit him without an appointment — which we cannot make because no one answers the phones?, and does not even permit us to visit him without an appointment—which we cannot make because no one answers the phone?
I would very much like to “be Heard!” by Mr. Perry.
