Democrats settling House primaries in Pennsylvania swing districts, with Shapiro's clout on the line
WARMINSTER, Pa. (AP) — Bob Brooks won the Democratic Party’s nomination Tuesday to run in a swing congressional district in eastern Pennsylvania.
Brooks, the state firefighters’ union president, is in his first run for office and has the backing of Gov. Josh Shapiro and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders.
