Rhode Island rep. plans Real Housewives watch party amid government shutdown: TMZ
Rhode Island Democratic Rep. Seth Magaziner is hosting a watch party for “The Real Housewives of Rhode Island amid the government shutdown.
According to TMZ, the show premieres April 2 and will be co-hosted by state Reps. Jackie Baginski and Hanna Gallo.
Magaziner has not responded to the report at this time.
TMZ has been posting pictures of lawmakers on vacation as the partial Department of Homeland Security shutdown continues.
The department has not been funded since Feb. 14.
“TMZ has photos of members of Congress living it up while the chaos back home drags on,” TMZ wrote on the social media platform, X. “From Disney World to Las Vegas, lawmakers on both sides are kicking back as the government stays shut down and federal workers go unpaid. When is enough enough?”
TMZ has obtained other pictures of different lawmakers during the government shutdown. One is of South Carolina GOP Sen. Lindsey Graham at Disney World during the shutdown.
In another photo, California Democratic Rep. Robert Garcia is seen at a Las Vegas casino.
Earlier this week, TMZ posted a picture of Texas GOP Senators Ted Cruz and John THune leaving D.C. during the government shutdown on a plane.
