A social-media post shared by Democratic Congressman Shri Thanedar has sparked widespread reaction online after he reposted an image of Stephen Miller alongside a surprising caption.

Thanedar, a Michigan Democrat, shared the post on X on Tuesday evening, responding to former government press secretary and podcaster Katie Miller.

In a post, Miller wrote: "Liberal men aren’t attractive." in response to a Charlie Smirkley post including a graph that said that 60 percent of extremely liberal men aged 35 to 45 are childless.

But Thanedar responded quickly, posting a picture of her husband Stephen Miller, who is the White House deputy chief of staff for policy. The Democrat wrote: "Meanwhile, this is your husband."

The post quickly attracted significant attention, with more than 4.5 million views within a few hours.

User Jeffery Mead wrote: "You are the last person who needs to be talking about people not being attractive. And it seems like you’re not aware that there is more to attraction than simply physical appearance."

X user Sheri said: "So her point is prove. Her husband isn’t a bad looking man."

Thanedar, who represents Michigan’s 13th Congressional District, is known for being active on social media and frequently posts commentary critical of Republican lawmakers and figures linked to President Donald Trump.

Earlier this week, Thanedar asked Trump's cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment against the president amid the Iran war. In a letter to each cabinet member, Thanedar called Trump "a threat to our country and to the world," adding that "he must be removed from office immediately."

Thanedar also introduced articles of impeachment against Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth in December, when he said the latter's actions "are not just reprehensible but illegal as well."
