Letters; GOP politicans sacrificing everything for party
It has never been more obvious. Donald Trump, Steve Scalise, Mike Johnson, Jeff Landry and Liz Murrill are willing to sacrifice everything, including state and country, for their party.
To them, Republican domination takes priority over democracy, the rule of law or even common sense.
I have been a Republican since 1971. I will continue to be one, in spite of my embarrassment, if only because I hope I can bring some small amount of sanity to my party.
Unfortunately, too many fellow Republicans continue to follow in lockstep their president, right off the democratic cliff.
