A list of questions for Susan Collins | Letter
Sen. Susan Collins has been our elected representative for nearly 30 years. For how many of those has she actually represented Mainers? As a constituent, I have reached out to her office many times with concerns about the Trump administration’s oversteps and attacks on our fundamental rights and heard nothing back from her team. As a critical election approaches in just four months, I hope to have the following questions answered for all of us who have to live with the consequences of her choices.
When will Collins attend a town hall in Maine?
Has Collins visited the Scarborough Detention Center? If so, does she know whether lawyers and clergy are allowed in? Has she viewed and tasted the food?
Does it matter to her whether Johan Sebastián Durán Guerrero was in Maine legally or not?
How is Collins planning to vote on Todd Blanche for attorney general? Jay Clayton for director of national intelligence? And Dr. Erica Schwartz for director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention?
Will Collins oppose the SAVE America Act if her vote will keep it from passing?
I look forward to her answers.
