Massie posts picture with Greene, jokes their fishing vessel survived South Com strike

Kentucky GOP Rep. Thomas Massie on Thursday posted a picture with former Georgia GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, stating that their fishing vessel survived a strikes from U.S. Southern Command.

On Wednesday, U.S. Southern Command announced that it conducted a strike on a vessel after it was confirmed that vessel was transiting narcotics.

“On May 27, at the direction of #SOUTHCOM commander Gen. Francis L. Donovan, Joint Task Force Southern Spear conducted a lethal kinetic strike on a vessel operated by Designated Terrorist Organizations,” U.S. Southern Command wrote on X. “Intelligence confirmed the vessel was transiting along known narco-trafficking routes in the Eastern Pacific and was engaged in narco-trafficking operations. Two male narco-terrorists were killed during this action. No U.S. military forces were harmed.”

Massie jokingly posted a picture of himself with Greene on a boat and said they were safe.

“Marked Safe!” he wrote on X. “Our fishing vessel survived South Com in the East Pacific yesterday.”

Greene is on vacation in Costa Rica and Massie joined her recently with his wife.

Greene quote tweeted Massie on X and posted a video with all of them on a boat.

“Thankfully we found one brave captain, however we did question the birds!” the post is captioned.
