Gosar bill would bar certain fraud offenders from VA health care jobs

U.S. Rep. Paul Gosar wants to prevent people who have defrauded the federal government from landing or keeping certain jobs at the Department of Veterans Affairs.
The Arizona Republican has introduced legislation that would bar the VA from hiring or retaining workers in certain health care and support positions if they have been convicted of fraud-related crimes involving federal money, found liable for making false claims against the government or banned from participating in federal health care programs.

There are a whole lotta problems more widespread and important in the VA than what this bill addressed, but something is better than nothing UNLESS more pressing problems took a back seat to get this passed.
