Tuesday marks the final day for California voters to cast their ballots, with in-person voting and ballot box locations closing at 8 p.m. on June 2 in Humboldt County. The election will be the first for the newly realigned California’s 2nd Congressional District — a district that, after the passage of Proposition 50 late last year, covers the entire length and breadth of the northernmost portion of the state, spanning north-south from Del Norte to Marin County and east-west from Modoc to Del Norte.
