Beaumont receives $2M grant for Pennsylvania Grade Project
The city of Beaumont will receive $2 million in federal funding secured by Congressman Raul Ruiz to support the Pennsylvania Grade Separation Project, a critical infrastructure improvement designed to enhance traffic flow, improve safety and reduce delays caused by the rail- road crossing. The project is on track with a Ready-to-List milestone for June 2027.
At the June 17 Beaumont City Council meeting, Ruiz announced federal funding for the Pennsylvania Grade Separation Project. The funding will help advance the approximately $140 million Pennsylvania Grade Separation Project, one of the city’s most significant long-term transportation investments. The project will address congestion along the Pennsylvania Avenue corridor and improve regional mobility in the San Gorgonio Pass.
