However, KHTS interviewed Democratic congressional candidates Caleb Norwood and Roberto Ramos, along with Republican Assembly candidates Elizabeth Wong Ahlers and Andreas Farmakalidis.
What made you decide to run for Congress, and why do you believe now is the right time for your candidacy?
Norwood said he decided to run because he believes Democrats need to more aggressively push policies focused on affordability and social programs.
“I’m running a platform of national public housing, universal healthcare, universal childcare, free public college and more federal funding for K through 12,” Norwood said.
