2026 Election Results: In CA-30, D-Laura Friedman holds a lead over 6 challengers
Rep. Laura Friedman, D-Glendale, had a solid lead in this seven-person contest to represent California’s 30th Congressional District, based on partial results for the primary election posted Wednesday afternoon.
Besides Friedman, who is seeking a second term, other Democrats in the race include: Pini Herman, a demographer and community organizer; Joel Lava, an advertising creative director; and Cameron Tennyson, a movie studio clerk.
Dennis Feitosa, an entrepreneur and podcaster, and Scott Meyers, an attorney and small business owner, are running as Republicans, while aerospace entrepreneur John Armenian is a “no party preference” candidate.
The latest update from the Los Angeles County registrar’s office, posted just after 4 p.m., showed Friedman with 50.64% of the vote, followed by Meyers at 19.86% and Tennyson at 11.19%. The other candidates had less than 10% each.
