First-term Rep. Jason Crow will face Republican Steve House in Colorado's 6th Congressional District.
The district is located in north-central Colorado and includes much of the eastern portion of the Denver-Aurora metropolitan area.
Steve House served as the chair of the Colorado Republican Party before stepping down in September 2019 to run for Congress.

The candidates
Crow is a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served three tours as an Army Ranger and was awarded a Bronze Star. Crow was a member of the Colorado Board of Veterans Affairs for five years before becoming a partner in a Colorado law firm.

The district
In 2017, Crow defeated five-term incumbent Mike Coffman by 11 percent to become the first Democrat to represent the district in its 37-year history. He currently sits on the House Armed Services Committee and the Small Business Committee.House, Crow's challenger, has 35 years of experience working in the healthcare industry as an engineer, consultant, marketer and executive. In March 2015, he was elected as the chair of Colorado's Republican Party, remaining the chair of the party until late 2019 when he declared his intention to run for Congress. House's campaign platform is centered around lower taxes, affordable healthcare, and reforming the nation's immigration system.
Colorados 6th Congressional District is located in north-central Colorado and contains much of the eastern section of the Denver-Aurora metropolitan area. It is home to all of Aurora, and parts of the cities of Littleton, Centennial, Brighton, and Henderson.

The money race
In the 2016 presidential election, the district voted Hillary Clinton over President Donald Trump in a 50-41 percent split.
According to the Center for Responsive Politics, Crow has raised $2.9 million– over three times more than House with just $762,000 raised. House has only $425,000 in cash on hand remaining looking toward November, substantially less than Crow's $2.1 million remaining.
