U.S. Rep. Cammack's district offices in Gainesville, Ocala remain closed following threats
U.S. Rep. Kat Cammack, R-Gainesville, said in an email July 3 that her Florida district offices remain closed to the public after receiving escalating death threats.
Cammack represents Florida's 3rd congressional district, which covers Alachua, Baker, Bradford, Columbia, Dixie, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Levy, Suwanee and Union counties and parts of Lafayette County and Marion County.

Cammack's communications director, Kaley Stidham, emailed the congresswoman's comments and said all of her district offices are closed but "fully operational."
"The safety of our staff and constituents remains our top priority," Cammack said in the email. "While our physical offices remain closed, we are committed to working on behalf of our constituents to ensure uninterrupted service to the people of Florida's Third Congressional District."
