Incumbent Rep. Tracey Mann defeats GOP challenger in ‘Big First’ district primary
WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - Kansas Republicans in Kansas’ largest congressional district are backing support for the incumbent as Rep. Tracey Mann is moving on in the “Big First.”
Kansas’ First Congressional District, currently covering about two-thirds of the state, now from Douglas County to the Colorado line, hasn’t had a Democratic representative in more than 60 years. In November, Mann will look to keep it that way.
Mann defeated GOP challenger Craig Musser in Tuesday’s primary. In November, Mann will face Democrat Lauren Reinhold and Libertarian Steven Jacob.
