Rep. Sharice Davids, Eric Jenkins to square off in November for US House seat from Kansas
(AP/KCTV) - Kansas 3rd Congressional District voters know from which candidate they will choose in November.
Incumbent Sharice Davids has won the Democratic nomination for U.S. House in Kansas’ 3rd Congressional District, the Associated Press reported Tuesday evening.
Her challenger will be Eric Jenkins, who won the Republican nomination.
Davids has served in Congress since 2019. Jenkins has served on Shawnee’s City Council and as the city’s planning commissioner.
Davis released a statement Tuesday night after being declared the winner of the primary.
