The primary is over. Now see who will be on your November ballot in Johnson County
The choices in November will be a lot simpler, now that primary elections are over.
The names of the nominees themselves are still unofficial, but in the aftermath of polling Tuesday, voters can be assured that for the partisan races at least, there will be only one person from each party to choose from this fall.
That’s a big change from Tuesday, when 11 Democrats were vying for U.S. Senate and seven Republicans were competing for governor, among other contests. Voters narrowed that down sharply.
Here’s a look at who will be on your ballot for the Nov. 3 general election:
Unofficial winners for the U.S. Senate were Leawood pastor and Democrat Adam Hamilton, and Republican incumbent Roger Marshall. David C. Graham ran unopposed for the primary as a Libertarian and will also be on the November ballot.
For Kansas’ 3rd Congressional District, which includes Johnson County, incumbent Rep. Sharice Davids will be the Democratic nominee and Eric Jenkins the Republican.
