Melissa Strange says she sees path to victory in Kentucky’s 4th District

WASHINGTON — Democrat Melissa Strange, a supply chain director from Erlanger, wants to go to Washington, in part to prove to her sons that government can work, she said.
“I want to be able to show that, as broken as everyone thinks our system is right now, and it certainly feels, that I still am an eternal optimist and believe that if you go there and you're there for the right reasons and you do the right thing and you're ethical and you follow the rules, I believe it can work,” Strange told Spectrum News in an interview Thursday.
Strange is running for Kentucky’s 4th Congressional District against Republican Ed Gallrein, who was backed by President Donald Trump and defeated incumbent Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Crescent Springs, in what is considered the most expensive House primary on record, according to AdImpact.
