Rep. Hal Rogers casts early vote in Kentucky primary
SOMERSET, Ky. (WYMT) - U.S. Rep. Hal Rogers and his wife Cynthia cast their votes early for the 2026 Primary Election, as the U.S. House of Representatives is scheduled to be in session on May 19.
Rogers says he received President Donald Trump’s “full and total endorsement” for re-election.
“On Election Day, I will be fulfilling my duty to serve the people of Southern and Eastern Kentucky on Capitol Hill, so Cynthia and I secured our ballots early at the Pulaski County Courthouse,” said Rogers, who is running for re-election for Kentucky’s Fifth Congressional District. “Every time we go to the polls, it is an exercise that honors the American heroes who fought and continue to fight for our freedom to vote.”
Rogers said experience matters in Washington and he hopes to continue securing federal funding for the rural region while working to protect taxpayer dollars by slashing wasteful spending.
