Qualifying wraps up for Nov. 3 election. See who’s running in SWLA
LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - Qualifying ended Friday for candidates running for office in the Nov. 3 election.
This will be one of the largest local elections in years, with more than 200 offices on the ballot in Southwest Louisiana.
Most races have been decided after only one candidate qualified. Races of interest with multiple candidates include the U.S. congressional seats, Lake Charles and Sulphur city judges, mayors of DeQuincy, Iowa and Rosepine, and Jeff Davis and Allen district attorneys.
Incumbents are marked with an asterisk*.
