CROWLEY, La. (NEWS 15) — A town hall meeting with Congressman Clay Higgins grew contentious during a discussion about agriculture policy and farming, with Higgins at one point threatening to remove people from the gathering.
The meeting took place at American Legion Post 15 on Thursday evening. The forum was open to the public and gave local constituents an opportunity to ask questions while Congress was on its late-summer break.
The exchange occurred as Higgins discussed agriculture policy and farming. Higgins, a Republican, told attendees he would remove people from the meeting if they did not yield.
