Less fighting, more Matt Dunlap | Letter
If people were around for Paul LePage’s time as Maine’s governor, they will remember that he was in the news constantly for getting into fights with one person after another — sometimes even in his own party. The last thing we need in Maine’s 2nd District is an angry politician making enemies instead of working together to get things done.
While revenue shortfalls resulting from former Gov. LePage’s tax cuts created severe economic disparities that directly harmed low-income families, and stripped away their ability to purchase basic life necessities, Matt Dunlap is a champion of Medicare, Social Security and Medicaid. The last thing we need is for more of our local hospitals to close or lose services like maternity wards.
Matt Dunlap has the integrity and experience to lead during these challenging times.
