Bob Onder wins GOP primary for U.S. District 3 seat, will face Bethany Mann in November
Republican Bob Onder and Democrat Bethany Mann won their primaries for Missouri's 3rd Congressional District.
Republican and incumbent U.S. Rep. Bob Onder and Democrat Bethany Mann were chosen to represent their parties in the Nov. 3 general election for Missouri's 3rd Congressional District seat.
Missouri's redrawn 3rd Congressional District stretches from eastern Missouri around St. Louis to central Missouri, covering the southern half of Boone County.
It also includes Monroe, Ralls, Audrain, Pike, Lincoln, Montgomery, Warren, St. Charles and Callaway counties.
The winner of the Republican primary is expected to be favored in November. Rep. Bob Onder currently holds the seat, which is up for election every two years.
Bon Onder is the incumbent U.S. representative for Missouri’s 3rd Congressional District, as well as a physician and attorney from St. Charles County.
