Missouri's new congressional map reshapes Boone County's assignments in the primary, moving voters into the 3rd and 5th congressional districts.
COLUMBIA — Boone County's congressional boundaries have changed, placing many Columbia voters into new districts and changing which U.S. House candidates will appear on their ballots.
Before the new map, Boone County voters were split between Missouri's 3rd and 4th congressional districts.
Under the new map passed by the Missouri General Assembly last year, Boone County is now divided between the 3rd and 5th congressional districts, with the boundary cutting through the county in a different way. The changes mean some voters will have different congressional candidates on their ballots than they would have under the previous map.
